Short bio:
Carol Jaxson-Jager, PhD, EdD, LPC, CST, CCTP, CSOTP is retired from the Department of Defense overseas program. She spent 23 years in Berlin Germany, 10 years in England, and 3 years in Japan as a counselor and speech, hearing and language therapist. She has studied, published, and presented information of racial inequalities, child sexual abuse, and behaviors caused by abuse She was the direcctor of the Mentor Program at Lakenheath, England, and directed Personal Growth and Development programs. (sex educaiton). She supervised University of Maryland students, in England, and was facilitator at therapy groups for military members with substance abuse, or mental health issues in Germany and Japan. Since retirement Dr. Jaxson-Jager has published a book, taught 2 day workshops for Continuing Education classes for educators, and classes for seniors only at Wright State University. Dr. Jaxson-Jager is a licensed Professional Counselolr in two states, Certified Sex Therapist, Clinically Certified Trauma Professional, and a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider. She maintains a private practice in the Dayton area in Ohio
